Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparer to join our team at Restaurant Mon Village. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, as well as maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a variable schedule of 20-40 hours per week. The work language is English or French.
