Lakeridge Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients are met.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting patient safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs and improve healthcare outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge and skills to enhance patient care.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of gerontology nursing principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound judgment, observation, and patient assessment skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients safely, using mechanical aids when necessary.
- Leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

- Good organizational, problem-solving, and teaching skills, with a focus on patient education and empowerment.
