Job Summary

The Deli Stocker is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store deli area, ensuring that all merchandise is properly signed and priced, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Zone the department and maintain a clean and organized store deli area.
  • Rotate stock and check for expired products.
  • Ensure all merchandise is properly signed and priced.
  • Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
  • Take orders for deli department merchandise and provide requested assistance to customers.
  • Provide assistance to front-end associates with price checks.
  • Prepare deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilize slicers, stackers, and other utensils.
  • Keep the area clean and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.

Requirements

  • Age - 16 or older

Work Environment

This role is located in our Ottawa, ON store and requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25lbs, and working in a fast-paced environment.
