About the Role:

Alberta Health Services is seeking a dedicated individual to join the Environmental Services team as a cleaner/housekeeper. As an Environmental II, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff, patients, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of cleaning services in clinical and non-clinical areas, including treatment rooms, staff areas, and public spaces.
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance, washing of ceilings and windows, and emptying hazardous waste.
  • Provide training/orientation to Environmental staff.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and operation of a computer, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and lift up to 30 lbs of force.

Preferred Qualifications:

General knowledge of cleaning techniques and methods, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
