Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Meat Processing Specialist at Olymel. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses
  • Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and efficiency
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, and dusty environment
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment. The work site environment is noisy, odorous, and dusty, and the work setting is physically demanding.
