Project Superintendent Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing construction operations for BA Blacktop Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement safety programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure accurate project budgets and schedules.
  • Lead and motivate a team of site foremen and crew members, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of road construction activities and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans/blueprints and look up specifications from MoTI/MMCD.
  • Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, Kheops, and Bluebeam.
  • Registration with ASTTBC (optional).
