We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Underground Infrastructure Inspector to join our team at FNX-INNOV. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our underground infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with the client's technical and administrative guidelines.
  • Monitor and oversee the execution of underground infrastructure projects, including excavation, piping, and other related activities.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of project plans, specifications, and other documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, quality control, and any issues or concerns.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of corrective action plans to address any quality or safety issues.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • DEC in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience/education.
  • Proven experience in construction site surveillance and quality control.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and in confined spaces.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in software applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French.
  • Valid ASP construction card.
  • Experience with Hydro-Québec training programs (an asset).
  • Knowledge of MCT, Rétro Chantier, and Smart Use (an asset).
  • Dynamic, autonomous, and organized individual.
