About the Role

Fancy Fork Café & Bistro is seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and presentation, and that our customers receive a consistently excellent dining experience.
  • Staff Development: Train and develop our staff in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service skills.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that our restaurant is fully staffed during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
