Job Summary:

The Operations Vice President will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations team, ensuring the effective implementation of organizational policies and programs.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to support business objectives and drive growth.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Objectives and Policies: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in operations management.
  • Work Setting: Manufacturing or production environment.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in Jira, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, and information technology.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
