Job Summary:

The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Isotope Shipping Area, coordinating daily functions and ensuring scheduled deliveries of the company's products.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and organize all required documentation for shipments.
  • Verify accuracy of shipping documents and labels.
  • Package product, perform Transportation Index measurements, and ensure compliance with IATA Regulations.
  • Deliver products and operate company vehicles safely.
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure delivery schedules are met.
  • Coordinate Out The Door (OTD) times with Production and Quality Control.
  • Maintain TI records and container records.
  • Handle and transfer product in F271 containers.
  • Approve all shipments and maintain routes on ROMIS.
Qualifications:
  • Secondary school graduation plus three years' experience in distribution or dealing with the public, preferably with direct involvement in handling dangerous goods.
  • Thorough knowledge of AECB, CTC, IAEA, and IATA regulations, especially those governing Class 7 products.
  • Valid driver's license and knowledge of Vancouver Operations, products, and general procedures.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize shipments, and handle large volumes of work under pressure.
Additional Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a vision screening and hearing test as a pre-employment condition.
