Job Summary

WHITE ROCK FREIGHT SERVICES INC is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring that all cargo is secure and properly tied down.
  • Inspect Vehicle: Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure that it is in good working condition, including checking tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, including updates on cargo status and any issues that may arise during transit.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
  • Work Schedule: 40 to 60 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off.
  • Language: English.
