KUBRA Data Transfer Ltd is seeking a skilled Automated Finishing Machine Operator to join our team in Mississauga, ON. As an Insert Operator, you will be responsible for operating automated finishing and post-finishing equipment to meet daily production requirements of client jobs.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position with a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate Pitney Bowes (PB) APS/MPS intelligent mail insertion equipment
- Assist Senior Machine Operators and the Lead Operator with learning the makeup, operating procedures, and structure of Processing Center jobs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Quality Test Methods (QTMs), and Quality Assurance (QA) processes
- Prepare and tray each job correctly for delivery to the Post Office with appropriate paperwork
- Assume responsibility for the performance, process, and quality of assigned sorter/verifiers
- Communicate effectively with other departments at the Processing Center and the Post Office to ensure smooth operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience operating a machine
- Technical knowledge of machinery, including general maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment issues
- Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 20 lbs
- High school diploma required
