We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Standard Truck & Crane Ltd.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position responsible for operating mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crane operation, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Operating mobile and tower cranes to perform tasks such as lifting, moving, and placing equipment and materials
- Cleaning and lubricating cranes to ensure proper functioning
- Operating pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures
- Performing routine maintenance work on cranes
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably cranes
- Excellent physical health and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This is a permanent, full-time position with a standard 35-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
