Job Title: Concrete Finisher - Surface Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher - Surface Specialist to join our team at Patterned Concrete Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Physically demanding work environment
- Ability to handle heavy loads
- Attention to detail
- Sound discrimination
- Standing for extended periods
