Java Technical Team Lead

At Agility PR Solutions LLC, we're seeking a seasoned Java Technical Team Lead to drive the development of our media monitoring platform. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll oversee the technical architecture, lead a talented team, and shape backend software components using Java.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers and oversee the technical direction of the project
  • Design and implement robust RESTful services using Java
  • Mentor junior developers and help them grow in their careers
  • Oversee code quality, technical debt, and apply best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development with hands-on experience in Java, SQL, Linux, and Git
  • Experience with Maven, Hibernate, Angular/Typescript, C#, .NET is a plus
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Remote flexibility: work from anywhere in Ontario
