About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and organized Kitchen Team Member to join our team at Ceilis A Modern Irish Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare menus, estimate food requirements, and determine portion sizes to ensure efficient food production.
  • Culinary Skills: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard, taking into account customer dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including inventory management and record-keeping.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service operations.
  • Quality Control: Inspect food and kitchen areas to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for long periods, and lifting heavy objects.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, attention to detail, and a team player.
