About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Central Montessori Thornhill Campus & Private School Inc. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
