Automotive Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Midas Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems
- Lube oil and filter services
- Tire and tire repair services
- Belts and hoses replacement
- Radiator and engine cooling system services
- Battery and starting system services
- Oil services and check engine light diagnosis
- Visual safety and courtesy inspections
Qualifications:
- Ability to repair vehicles independently and work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires, and engine diagnostics
- High personal productivity and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
- Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
- Provincial Certificate of Qualification and valid driver's license
- Able to service both import and domestic vehicles
