Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Plant Director to lead our manufacturing team at Lactalis Canada Inc. This is a key role that requires a strong background in dairy processing and manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
As Plant Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve plant performance, including cost reduction, productivity improvement, and quality enhancement.
You will also lead a team of manufacturing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing plant operating plans to achieve business objectives
- Leading a team of manufacturing professionals to deliver high-quality products
- Implementing cost-saving initiatives and improving productivity
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results

- University degree in Engineering, Dairy Science, or Food Science
- Five (5) to ten (10) years' experience in a dairy or food processing or manufacturing environment
- Experience in cost management, production planning, inventory control, quality, and continuous improvement
- Significant experience in technical and economic evaluations of processes, products, and production systems
- Experience in advanced dairy/food processing technologies
