Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at VON Canada. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other settings in communities across Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to patients in their homes and other settings
  • Manage diabetes, dialysis, IV medications, IV/CVAD care, palliative care, phlebotomy, and wound care
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the highest quality of care
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice
  • Experience in community health an asset
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
