Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at GRI Construction Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to and from job sites.
  • Ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including bills of lading and driver logs.
  • Collaborate with other drivers and logistics teams to ensure smooth transportation operations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • Knowledge of bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection report, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with dump trucks and flatbeds.
  • Knowledge of local and short-haul transportation.
  • Driver's validity licence check and driving record check (abstract).
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Attention to detail.
