About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Specialist to join our team at Tharshana Kailayapillai. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, promoting their emotional well-being and self-esteem
  • Organize activities such as games and outings to stimulate their cognitive and physical development
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and restrictions
  • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, following established protocols
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Previous experience in childcare or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
