Job Summary

SS&C Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
  • Design and implement tests, debug and define corrective actions.
  • Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.
  • Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of working experience in automation projects and technical activities.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, API Testing tools.
  • Strong knowledge in automation scripting languages like Java, Java/VB Script, Python, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience using Test Management tools like JIRA, XRay, Service Now, HP ALM, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Jenkins/Gitlab, Excel macros, Shell Scripting, etc.
  • Working knowledge of QA methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid Agile, BDD).
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • ADA compliance experience.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing and a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject is a plus.
  • Development experience with Spring Boot and/or Angular frameworks is a plus.
