About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flooring and Carpet Supervisor to join our team at MALWA FLOORING AND CARPET LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Teams

Lead and direct a team of tile setters and other construction personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Estimate and Plan Projects

Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and plan and coordinate the work of the team to ensure efficient use of resources.

Ensure Health and Safety

Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on site, and that the team is aware of and adheres to these regulations.

Requisition and Order Materials

Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to ensure that projects are completed on time.

Leading and Instructing

Lead and instruct individuals to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.

Work Term

Permanent position.

Work Language

English.

Hours

35 to 40 hours per week.
