Job Summary

Job Description

As an Over the Road Truck Driver with Diljaan Trucking Ltd., your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating a tractor-trailer combination unit to transport goods across various routes and territories
  • Loading and unloading cargo at designated terminals or customer locations
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance
  • Maintaining accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and cargo information
  • Communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid Class 1 or A driver's license
  • At least two years of experience as an over-the-road truck driver
  • Excellent physical health and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and other modern technologies
