Job Summary

We're seeking passionate Bakers to join our team at Cobs Bread Brentwood Commons. As a Baker, you'll be responsible for leading our freshness commitment, working independently or as part of a small team to bake each morning, following carefully crafted recipes. Your role will involve ensuring high-quality products are delivered to customers while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bake bread and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in training programs to develop baking and leadership skills.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • An early riser who can work independently or as part of a small team.
  • Pride in delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service.
  • A great attitude and good organizational skills.
  • The ability to lift up to 22 kg and stand for long periods.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. The schedule includes:

  • Holidays.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Morning shift.
  • Weekends as needed.
Licence/Certification

You'll need:

  • First Aid Certification (required).
  • Food Safety Certification (required).
Salary and Location

This role offers a competitive salary of $16.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. You'll work in our Brentwood Commons location, with opportunities to advance within the company.
