The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.


Job Description:


This role involves working as a pharmacy technician in our busy dispensary, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • A graduate of a CCAPP-accredited pharmacy technician education program
  • Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists or eligibility
  • Unit dose/IV admix drug distribution experience
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Availability for all shifts, including weekends and ability for multi-site coverage when required
  • Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records
  • Adherence to Brightshores' 'CARE' Behaviours (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) and 'LEAD' Competencies (Lead by example, Empower, Achieve results, Develop others)
  • Supports a culture of patient safety and demonstrates understanding of how the department service and assigned responsibilities contribute to overall patient safety at Brightshores through patient safety knowledge, skills, and attitudes
