Job Title: Retail Salesperson

We are seeking a Retail Salesperson to join our team at North Nechako Foods. As a Retail Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and display areas.
  • Meet sales targets by promoting products, managing inventory, and implementing sales strategies.
  • Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store displays.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving customer complaints.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve sales skills and product knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail sales experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
