About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Store Sales Associate at DJ Specialties. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with finding products.
  • Merchandising: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure that products are properly displayed.
  • Operations: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Inventory Management: Count and record inventory, report discrepancies, and assist with receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a supermarket/grocery store environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, overtime required.
  • Language: English.
