Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team at Jace Trucklines Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Accurate Records

Ensure that all work records and logs are up-to-date and accurate, including mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.

Provide Excellent Customer Service

Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely updates on the status of their shipments.

Coordinate Transportation Operations

Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely delivery.

Monitor and Report on Transportation Metrics

Track and analyze key transportation metrics, including on-time delivery rates, fuel efficiency, and driver productivity.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Work closely with sales, customer service, and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

Previous experience in a transportation or logistics role is an asset.

Skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
