Assistant Pharmacy Manager

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Pharmacy Manager to become an integral part of our Sardis location in Chilliwack, BC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day Pharmacy Dispensary operations, including receiving, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
  • Assume clinical responsibilities, including drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling, and recommendations.
  • Craft prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring, and mixing the quantities of drugs and other ingredients required and filling appropriate containers with the correct quantity.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community partners.
  • Oversee inventory management.
  • Manage team member scheduling, training, and management.
  • Identify and map business strengths and patient needs.
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies and plans.
  • Enforce policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drugs distribution.
Requirements:
  • Valid pharmacist license and good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or an equivalent regulatory body.
  • Injection certification.

Compensation:

$56.00 - $59.00 per hour, with compensation adjusted for location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
