Description du poste :

Nous sommes à la recherche d'une personne motivée et autonome ayant une bonne capacité d'adaptation aux changements et qui aime travailler dans un environnement dynamique.

La personne titulaire du poste relèvera du superviseur de la préparation et de la décantation et sera responsable de la préparation des commandes en magasin de façon efficace, de vérifier l'exactitude des marchandises choisies, et de s'assurer que les commandes sont prêtes à être livrées dans le respect des échéanciers.

Tâches importantes :

  • Préparer les commandes en magasin avec précision.
  • Empiler des boîtes de dimensions diverses sur des palettes de façon sécuritaire et ordonnée.
  • Soulever des boîtes pouvant peser jusqu'à 23 kg (50 lb).
  • Opérer un transpalette électrique capable de tirer simultanément 2 palettes.
  • Identifier les palettes à l'aide d'un numéro de plaque sortant fourni avec la commande.
  • Garder un espace de travail propre et en ordre.
  • Effectuer les tâches de façon à promouvoir la sécurité en respectant la Loi sur la santé et la sécurité au travail (OSHA ou Ontario Safety and Health Act) et les normes du Système d'information sur les matières dangereuses utilisées au travail (SIMDUT);
  • Accomplir diverses tâches en entrepôt, à la demande du superviseur.

Exigences du poste :

  • Diplôme d'études secondaires.
  • Expérience en préparation de commandes ou dans un autre poste semblable.
  • Capacité de travailler debout et de marcher pour des périodes prolongées.
  • Capacité de soulever des objets lourds pour des périodes prolongées.
  • Capacité de porter attention aux détails.
  • Connaissance des systèmes de commandes vocales ou du système de gestion d'entrepôt Manhattan, un atout.
