Guest Attendant Opportunity

As a Guest Attendant at Aspira Carolina Retirement Living, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents. Your passion for delivering exceptional care and service will make a significant impact on our community.

Job Summary:

The Guest Attendant is responsible for providing courteous service to residents, completing care assignments, and performing various tasks to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provide courteous service.
  • Complete all aspects of resident care as outlined in the plan of care and care assignment.
  • Transport residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office, and dining room as required.
  • Complete laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments.
  • Deal tactfully and courteously with residents, residents' families, and report any concerns/complaints to the supervisor.
  • Practice safe food handling techniques throughout all aspects of food preparation and service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of six months of experience in a similar role.
  • Current First Aid/CPR training.
  • Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Personal Support Worker Certificate is preferred.
