Millwright Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at Posi-Plus Technologies inc. as an Industrial Equipment Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts, using hand tools and specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand equipment requirements.
• Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring precise fit and function.

Requirements:

• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, such as machinery installation and repair.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, and compressors.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with attention to detail and physical stamina.
• Own tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles.
