The Capital Planning and Validation Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the optimization of production processes at Pharmascience, aiming to increase efficiency across equipment, buildings, and systems at various sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget within the capital plan framework
  • Developing and executing validation protocols
  • Collaborating with clients, professionals, and contractors to minimize operational disruption during projects
  • Monitoring project progress: inspections, schedules, meetings, and communications
  • Ensuring project closure, including budget reconciliation and documentation
  • Leading multiple projects aimed at enhancing company operations and internal logistics
  • Analyzing equipment usage, labor, and machinery to improve profitability
  • Updating AutoCAD plans as needed
  • Providing leadership as a project manager and assisting the Project Engineer

This position requires:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure
  • Adaptability to changes and effective communication
  • Bilingualism (French and English, oral and written)
  • Strong priority management and sense of urgency
  • Fostering teamwork and exchange
  • Mastery of IT tools like MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project

Working conditions:

  • Office and plant-based work environments
  • Occasional on-site construction assignments

Salary Estimate: CAD $60,000 - CAD $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on industry standards for similar positions in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
