Job Opportunity at RDTS

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Representative to join our team in Ottawa, ON. As a Merchandising Representative, you will be responsible for merchandising and representing products from various suppliers to big-box stores in your territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Merchandising and Product Placement: Ensure that products are properly displayed and faced in stores, and that shelves are clean and well-stocked.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Identify opportunities to promote products through techniques such as cross-merchandising and mass merchandising.
  • Display Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain displays and fixtures in stores.
  • Planogram Execution: Read and execute planograms as needed, during resets.
  • Daily Reporting: Submit daily reports, including photos of work completed, through our mobile reporting app.
  • Store Relationships: Maintain excellent relationships with store managers and other stakeholders.
  • Special Projects: Execute special mandates required by clients, such as audits and displays.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in merchandising and reading planograms is an asset.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, autonomy, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to occasionally carry and lift loads up to 10 kg.
  • Territorial Coverage: Must be able to cover your territory, with mileage reimbursement applicable.
