About the Job:

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Interior Health Authority, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to clients, including wound care, IV, catheter care, and pleurex drains.
  • Administer oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Operate within the scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and according to organizational policies, procedures, standards, and unit-specific protocols.


About this Opportunity:

This is a casual opportunity, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary, with shifts scheduled during the day, rotating from 08:30 to 16:30 hours. As a casual employee, you will be eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.
