About the Role

The AML/ATF department within Compliance plays a critical role in managing the Bank's AML/ATF risk through effective controls. As a key member of the growing AML Operations and Analytics team, you will report to the Associate Director, Operations and Analytics, and play a vital role in supporting data-related projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for AML team access to reliable data and represent the team on all data-related matters.
  2. Oversee database design, implementation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  3. Manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer between systems.
  4. Ensure data completeness and accuracy by identifying and addressing gaps or missing information.
  5. Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to uphold data integrity and meet regulatory standards.
  6. Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to support informed decision-making.
  7. Train and mentor team members on best practices for data management and utilization.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or IT, with a Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a database-related role.
  • Working knowledge of database management & design.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Azure Databases.
  • Quick learning skills and ability to get acquainted with new software and processes.
  • Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and collaborate closely with other organizational managers.
