Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Cashier to join our team in Boucherville. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service at the checkouts, accurately recording customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Accurately record customer transactions and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Replenish merchandise around the checkout area and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed
  • Follow loss prevention best practices and ensure compliance with all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery

Requirements

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position include standing and/or walking, bending, twisting, and squatting. You will also be required to lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and perform tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.

Keyholder Premium (If Applicable)

As a Keyholder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store on an ad hoc basis, ensuring all areas are tidy, and ensuring all Associates have completed their end of shift tasks. You will also be responsible for security of the store, including locking and setting alarm.
