Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Support Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in inclusive education, with a focus on supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Student Support Plans (SSPs) to meet the unique needs of students
  • Provide professional development and coaching to teachers on inclusive schooling practices
  • Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement behavior support plans
  • Utilize standardized assessment instruments to monitor student progress
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in inclusive education and adapt programs to meet the needs of students with exceptional needs
Requirements
  • B.Ed with a specialization in Inclusive Schooling or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years of teaching experience
  • Experience working as a Program Support Teacher or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of inclusive education principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
