Job Summary:
IKO is seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team. As a Millwright Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues by observing equipment in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Disassemble and repair or replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
- Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using measuring instruments.
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, and straightedges.
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
