Job Title: DevOps Solutions Architect

At Teknion, we are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end highly scalable and resilient solutions for infrastructure and application services with Teknion's hybrid clouds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement DevOps practices to automate the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD capabilities for infrastructure and applications.
  • Implement and manage Web Application Firewalls to provide unified application security posture protecting APIs & Web Applications at the edge.
  • Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
  • Design and implement Source Code Control (Github); binaries and artifacts via an Artifact Repository (JFrog or equivalent).
  • Design and implement Dev, QA / UAT and Production application environments.
  • Ensure application environments, tools & approved 3rd party components are kept up to date as per established patching & update procedures.
  • Implement automated processes wherever possible with continuous modernization and upgrade of existing processes / scripts.
  • Incidence management and root cause analysis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.
  • Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
  • Must be self-motivated and driven. Strong ability to work with internal resources and vendors.
Preferred Technologies:
  • Strong experience in RHEL Linux v8.
  • Strong experience in Ansible, Github, Jenkins, JFrog, Cloudflare Web Application Firewall, Docker / Podman / Kubernetes / Okta.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Excellent knowledge of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
  • Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
  • Shell Scripting (Bash, Powershell, Ruby, Python, etc).
  • Proficient in current web standards & frameworks.
