MCA Dental Group is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at our London South location. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention and tailored treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized dental hygiene treatment plans, prioritizing patient oral health and well-being;
  • Conduct thorough medical history screenings and updates, as well as baseline and routine assessments;
  • Perform radiographs and impressions, as prescribed by our dentists, and take intraoral photos;
  • Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis, and develop targeted treatment plans;
  • Deliver preventive dental care services, including scaling, prophy, and fluoride treatments as required;
  • Provide patients with education on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative instructions;
  • Maintain accurate documentation and charting, ensuring seamless communication between team members;
  • Collaborate with colleagues during downtime, assisting with scheduling and identifying gaps in clinical schedules;
  • Attend continuing education events to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution;
  • Registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the CDHO;
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
