We are seeking a talented Principal C++ Software Engineer to join our team at Cadence Design Systems, Inc.

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of new features and algorithms for our Custom Prototyping Flow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement high-quality software solutions
  • Working with technical support lead and key customers to resolve implementation or usage issues
  • Developing and maintaining software components using C++ and other general-purpose languages
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the industry

We're looking for someone with a strong background in computer science, a minimum of 7 years of experience in algorithmic software development for FPGAs, and a passion for learning and growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in FPGA software development
  • Strong development experience in C++, C#, or Java
  • Knowledge of logic simulators and multi-threaded programming
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
