About the Role

Fusion on the Lake Inc. is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including meals and individual items, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure a high-quality dining experience for our customers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work Setting

This role is based in a restaurant environment, where you will work as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food.

Language

The primary language spoken in this role is English.

Hours

This role is for 30 hours per week.
