About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our team at Toronto Precast Inc. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
  • Bookkeeping and Financial Analysis: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, and perform financial analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Payroll and Financial Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and reconcile accounts.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of financial plans and budgets, and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
