Vicanik Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods and materials to various locations. Your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods and materials to various locations
  • Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Performing emergency roadside repairs and performing preventive maintenance
  • Receiving and relaying information to central dispatch and recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption

Requirements

  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Excellent judgment, reliability, and teamwork skills

Work Environment

  • On the road job with a permanent work term
  • 40 to 60 hours per week
  • Work language: English
