About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Hola Transport Ltd. as a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Operate and drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver goods and products to customers.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and communicate with customers and colleagues as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
  • Handling and Loading: Safely load and unload goods, and handle hazardous materials as required.
  • Navigation and Route Planning: Follow directions and read maps to ensure efficient and safe delivery routes.
  • Administrative Tasks: Record trip information, including vehicle maintenance and any issues encountered, and process payments for goods delivered.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work overtime as needed and be able to lift and move heavy objects.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week.
