About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at 2212089 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement treatment programs under the guidance of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to help patients recover from injuries or disabilities.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Management
    • Ensure all equipment is clean and well-maintained to prevent accidents and ensure patient safety.
  • Program Planning and Implementation
    • Collaborate with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to plan and implement physiotherapy programs tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with patients, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Completion of a relevant education program (e.g., college/CEGEP).
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
    • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Language and Work Schedule
    • Fluency in English (langue de travail: Anglais).
    • 32 hours per week.
