Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture and assemble different prefabricated fibreglass elements using precision cutting and forming techniques.
  • Measure and mark sheet metal accurately according to templates and specifications.
  • Operate metalworking machines such as shears, presses, and drilling equipment to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
  • Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Schedule work effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and conformity standards.
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance on proper procedures and best practices.
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Fabricate and install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
